Facing growth that could double the county's population in the next 20 years, Putnam County and the school board are considering whether to enact impact fees for new developments. Commissioners are looking at five types of impact fees, including water and sewer, transportation, and parks and recreation. The school board is discussing its own fees, which the commission must approve.
